Everything, from breakfast to dinner, bar and sleeping facilities. It was by far not cheap but gave extra glance to our stay in Portmadog/Portmeirion, so we are very satisfied to select the Golden Fleece!
Porthmadog High Street is 30 meters and both national and steam trains are within 600 meters of Tudor Lodge. The Tudor Lodge is a family run bed and breakfast.

Location was excellent - short walk to Tescos, easy walk to other shops and cafes on The Cob.
The breakfast set-up was unbelievable - the choice amazing . I opted for cooked breakfast, but tried the cereals as well - amazing choice of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, fresh fruit - there were nuts and seeds there I'd never tried in my Life before - it was great.

We loved everything about our stay. Such a lovely town with the most amazing panorama. House in general very well organised, spacious rooms and more than enough bathrooms and wc’s for a bigger family. We liked so much open kitchen with a dinning room, lovely for a bigger group to have a dinner together. Everyone been complimenting the beds and pillows, they been super comfy. Thank you for actually letting us stay, it has an incredible and unforgettable experience, literally the house is a little gem. Definitely coming again. Ps. A massive thank you for a housekeeper, she being so friendly and amazing.

The town is a busy little place with plenty of choices for eating out , bars etc. It a key access point for two heritage railways, and for Portmeiron. Black Rock Bay is superb, rolling dunes and sandy bay for miles. Very large holiday home resorts back onto the bay, though well hidden. So expect some very busy times and lots of families enjoying their weekends and holidays, out of season the beach is perfect for beach walks.

Great restaurant's to take your pick from.
Great restaurant's to take your pick from. A really lovely pub (The Australia) highly recommend and the Snowdonia national park on your doorstep . you can also take advantage of the main line train to do large sections of the Wales coastal path getting off and walking a section and on again at different stations, Note, please tell the conductor witch station you want to get off at as the train doesn't stop automatically at all stations.
Welsh coastal path is stunning in and around porthmadog well worth walking.

Porthmadog is the perfect place to stay when visiting Portmerion, or if walking and exploring the area. It does have a pretty harbour/marina. There are plenty of choices for eating out. Plus the heritage railway is a short walk.
We stayed in a Cabana and for a family of four it was amble for a couple of nights. The lodge was very modern and super clean. The kids loved the mezzanine sleeping area. We are at the hotel both nights, and the food was delicious. The pizza on the outside pizza oven was a highlight and the kids were happy playing in the play park which was viewable from the outside dining area. Location is also idea for everything you might want to do in the area. All in all really lovely break and would 100% recommend it.
Set in a beautiful valley near to Porthmadog the site is very well kept and quiet. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are friendly and helpful.
My 2 person pod accommodation was comfortable and clean with a lovely veranda area to sit out and parking immediately adjacent. A compact kitchen has all the basics you need for self catering and the shower, although small, has good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The area is one of immense natural beauty with plenty to see and do.
This is a Tale of Two Rooms. The first night we were in a twin room in the attic. it was on the 3rd floor and I can barely walk. There was no lift. The room sucked so bad my husband told them we would not stay for a second night. The reception hostess was so nice. she managed to switch our room from the attic to the best room in the hotel for the 2nd night that room was very nice. it had a private patio, a king bed plus a twin, a larger bathroom and we were quite happy with it.
This is an excellent 2-bedroomed cottage based in the centre of Porthmadog, ideally situated for all parts of Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula. A lot of thought has clearly gone into furnishing this very well maintained property, with its "Tardis" like features. The 2 bedrooms are downstairs, along with a bathroom. The large upstairs area is open planned with both dining and lounge area, along with a well furnished kitchen. Well recommended in all aspects.
Very tastefully decorated duplex in a great location in Porthmadog. We had everything we could need right in center of the town with a very short walk to the towns cafes, restaurants, shops and pubs. There were lots of guides on the things to do in the area and the location was also perfect to get to them. Would like to come back in the summer months.
Location was great, very pretty area and quiet. Back patio was amazing, well done on renovations. Dinner was delicious and not overpriced. Breakfast was great, lots of food and fresh!
Parking was available outside free of charge - amazing!
All staff were helpful and friendly!
Superb and spacious accommodation, recently modernized and has all the facilities we could think of. Spot on, representative, and in a good location. Includes a free parking spot in a central area of Porthmadog.
Excellent support and fast communication.
Absolutely love this hotel the surrounding area the site itself it was on , and the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful . the cleanliness and the attention of the staff who worked extremely hard it’s fantastic . I will definitely go back
It is rare to find such a beautiful, tastefully decorated and clean house. We had a lovely time and felt right at home.
If we ever go to North Wales again, we will love to come back to Glenda's house.
Thank you!
Nice location of the hotel, the room was comfortable, nice breakfast with very helpful staff if you had any questions to ask they would attend to that, parking was plenty in the surrounding area.
We loved how cleaned the caravan was, having all everyday essentials at hand. Lovely area made use of all amenities. Would definitely like to stay again.
