staff were excellent breakfast and pm meal were very tasty and plentiful - ate in the inn the 3 nights we stayed delightful surprise of quiz night with bingo which was enjoyable always very good to see locals using the facilities

It is very old building with lots of history, in a very convenient place just a couple of minutes walk from the station. We stayed in the annex, bedroom was lovely , very big, large bathroom with corner bath and separate shower, all spotlessly clean. Staff were lovely , good breakfast.

Rooms were exactly what was “on the tin” (photos). Clean and fresh as were the stairs and landing areas Carpets nice and new looking and freshly decorated. Emma & Anthony were very nice people and were eager to please and most helpful. Nothing to much trouble.

I asked for a room with easy access as my husband has MS related reduced mobility and was rung the day before arrival by a kind person checking the room on offer was suitable- exceptional service!
