buen desayuno pero algo descuidados con el servicio
We loved everything about this home. It was large, clean, and the pool was amazing.
They DO provide 8 pool towels so you do not need to bring your own. They also provide beach chairs and a cooler. We wished we had a blender but they do have a bullet so that worked as well. Otherwise the kitchen and house was fully equipped!
Be careful ordering packages to the house. There is a UPS/Amazon box on the front porch that you cannot access (only the owner can who is not local) so we could never get the package that was dropped in.
Trash day is Tuesday. Super important to know since we did not realize it and was busting out the seems before we left on Sunday :) We had a full house! The pool is cleaned on Friday's. We felt like the pool was not cleaned on our arrival but really the tree above the pool drops a lot in even after its just cleaned! Just an FYI :)
Great. quiet neighborhood. Great distance to everything! We loved being so close to the Boston lobster roll restaurant. Expensive but delish! We walked one day, rented bikes one day, rented a boat one day, and a golf cart one day. Everything is fun and easy in St Augustine. You cannot go wrong! We would 100% stay here again.

We visited the fort which was a very informative piece of history. We walked down the oldest street with the beautiful canopy of trees near the Fountain of Youth attraction. The peacocks walking around the grounds were very nice to see. We walked through the Old Jail attraction area and visited a delightful tea shop. Walking through the Old Town there were a lot of choices of restaurants and several had live music. We ate at a wonderful family owned restaurant named "Raintree" that was located a short distance from the old town. The Spanish architecture gives you that colonial feel that takes you back in time. The biggest challenge was finding a parking spot at the fort but patience does prevail.

St.Augustine had a lot of history and charm.
St.Augustine had a lot of history and charm. A lot of variety of things to see and do. A lot of the activities cost so it can add up quickly so we just picked a couple of attractions and hung out on St. George street.

St. Augustine is beautiful.
St. Augustine is beautiful. Walking over The Bridge of Lions was something I had wanted to do. I finally did! I felt safe in the historic area. Good array of shops and restaurants. I can’t wait to go back.

Many of the sites were in or adjacent to the old city which made it convenient to do several things. We took a ghost tour and learned about the history of the city. My daughter and I enjoyed the shops on St. George while my husband toured the fort. He said it was very interesting. We ate at Mojo’s barbecue which was very good and finished our trip visiting the lighthouse. Loved it! I would like to take another trip to St. Augustine to see more of the city.

So many things to see have to come back.
So many things to see have to come back. A lot of places were not disabled person friendly. I would of like to see more, but as a disabled person. I was disappointed for me and my family. Iver all need about a week or more.
A fully functional apartment with a kitchen, washing machine, and everything you can expect. A parking place for the guests, another spot for a visitor. Cleanliness. All this makes it an excellent alternative to a hotel. An ideal place for a couple or a small family for a city break or a short vacation, next to the Atlantic ocean, with beach access, and very close to the historic center of the nation's oldest city. The property is not cheap and a deposit is required, but it's possibly worth every dollar spent.
We were celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary and took a trip to St. Augustine! So glad that we booked our room at Southern Oaks Inn! The location was great, the breakfast was great and the free shuttle to the Historic District was so great! The staff member Brittany got us an Anniversary Card, a box of chocolates and 2 free drinks! This was above and beyond and so very sweet! Just a perfect stay and an incredible Anniversary weekend! We will be back for sure!! Thanks Southern Oaks Staff!!!
Hotel is in nicely renovated old building, rooms are decorated in morrocan style, everything is clean, breakfast very good. Free parking right behind the house. You open both the hotel and room doors with code, that makes it very easy as you don´t have to care, where you have just put your bloody plastic card :D. Historic downtown is within walking distance, which is great. We stayed here a night, but if we had more time, we´d definitely stay at least one more.
Agustin Inn is very conveniently located in Old Town, which makes it a great location for older guests, too, as there is a lot of things to do and see in good walking distance. The staff is super friendly and helpful, everybody goes the extra mile to make your stay great. Rooms are lovely decorated and comfy. Breakfast was fabulous and so was the happy hour in the afternoon. I can only recommend Agustin Inn if you want to make a trip to St. Augustine.
The price was great for a pet friendly hotel, my girls loved the on site dog park, they had a blast being able to run off leash for a bit. The beds were pretty comfortable considering it isn't an expensive hotel. We didn't have the breakfast as we wanted to try somewhere recommended by a friend. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Will absolutely stay here when we return in the fall.
This was an amazing stay at the Renaissance St. Augustine Historic Downtown Hotel. Not only is it a beautiful property, but the interior is decorated amazingly beautiful. We had a very nice room, that was big and decorated beautifully and the bed was soo comfortable. The fitness centre was very clean and well equipped and the staff were very friendly.
Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, nice breakfast, pet friendly, decent pool and gym, big fridge in room, nice microwave, ability to cook in room, near the outlet mall and about 10 miles to downtown St. Augustine. The property was very quiet and we had a terrific stay. We will definately stay here again!!!
Cosy, clean and comfortable. Our hosts provided very clear instructions so we were able to find the property and access with ease. Plenty of ongoing helpful communication.
Super location within a short walk of the downtown area. We loved St. Augustine. Definitely one of our favourite places in America.
The location is excellent for those wishing to stay in the St. Augustine Historic District. The room is comfortable and well designed to provide a cooking area, refrigerator and closet. Although having to walk to park the vehicle ($20.00 per day) was a minus, the venue as a whole is excellent.
It’s literally two steps from a nice beach. Really pleasant lady at the check in which made everything smooth. It’s in a quiet area and free parking. Breakfast can be bought 4 min walk from hotel at Publix. Fantastic to take a stroll on the beach early morning and watch the sun rise.
The room was very clean, bathroom was newly renovated. Great location, close enough to the historic district to be walkable but far enough away to be quiet . And the free parking was nice, hard to find parking in St. Augustine so nice to leave the car and walk to the sights
The hotel is in a perfect location: the center of Saint Augustine! The staff is very welcoming and ready to help! Despite the small size of the room (due to the fact that everything in St. Augustine is old), there is a great bath tube and the rooms are cozy!!!
The location is perfect for exploring the historic district of downtown St. Augustine. The clearly "vintage" motel has modern, up-to-date furnishings and bathroom. The mini fridge and the microwave were a nice surprise, even though we didn't use them.
we’ve stayed here multiple times. It’s in the historic district so we can walk everywhere. It’s also pet friendly which is a must for us. The staff is always kind and rooms always clean. This is our go to when we visit St. Augustine.
The unit living area was well appointed. The grounds of the property are immaculate. In a safe area, but at least a 20-30 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine.
Enjoyed the breakfast each morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was right on the beach and had easy access to downtown St. Augustine
