I booked this hotel but they transfer us to different hotel which is Aloha Hotel without my knowledge. Yes, the reception did say they email to me but no email received until today. The best part is we paid our transport to that hotel then transfer us to different hotel on our cost. Is that possible? after few min argument, they agreed to pay the transport to Aloha Hotel. Aloha Hotel, the room is ok no problem. The problem is the reception staff. The Management need to train your reception staff to be more polite to the guest and to place more 2 or 3 staffs when its a lot of guest to check in.

Always use a google translator when communicating with the locals as their English is not as advanced in other states eg. Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya. Its very easy to get around using Grab. The places of interest are actually nearby each other. I recommend ASEAN Night Market for Clothing shopping instead of Lee Gardens night market as they have few varieties. Lee Gardens is very good for street food and most massage outlets are located around Lee Gardens. The food served in restaurants are served fresh, tasty and cheap. You should go for it. For Malls, you can visit Central Hatyai which is huge and comes with a big Game Centre.

HatYai sadly has become way too touristy - and specially for Malaysian tourists.
The street food is no longer traditional Thai street food, it caters for Malaysians. You get nasi lemak, ramli's burger etc which is not something you'd want when in Thailand.

Ideal for slower pace trip.
Ideal for slower pace trip. Lots of vendors in Hatyai can speak Chinese and Malay, very tourist oriented.
Can easily find Halal food as there are numbers of Thai Muslim living there.
Massage heaven for all too~ I liked it when some of the massage shops provide hair wash service.

My favourite place was definitely the Floating Market.
My favourite place was definitely the Floating Market. Samila Beach was quite nice even though it was a bit far (you need a car to go there). The mall (Central Hat Yai) was okay, nothing special about it. The ground floor has food stalls, which is good. Hat Yai village was quite disappointing because there's not that many food stalls there but the food was okay. It was easy to get around Hat Yai because we went there by car. But on the second night, we were devastated because we did not get to go to ASEAN night market because it was closed (not sure why). Every Monday, Greenway is closed so that was okay. We ended up going to Lee Garden Night Market. It was full of people (might be because the other two night markets were closed). Nothing was special about that place. It was next to a mall. As usual, 7E is a must. We end up visiting 7E 3 days in a row, that's how much we like it. I would avoid the days when the night markets are closed. So plan your trip wisely so that you get to experience every bit of it. We will definitely be coming back to Hat Yai for a better experience!

It's worth spending couple days as ir a good location for Air Train and Bus onwards destinations .
Good food, night market excellent one hout Thai massage 200 baht💆♀️.
Avengers gym very well equipped abd 5 minutes from hostel
Great luxurious hotel next to teh Hat Yai airport. The room has huge and very well taken care of. The breakfast selection was awesome. We only stayed there for a few hours as we arrived late and left the next morning but it looked like a great hotel to spend more time. The pool looked very good. though there is not much around, the airport is 10 minutes walk away and you would need transport to town (grab/taxi/car).
Friendly staff, simple and clean room. We got the 5 pax family room, hard to find. 2 x extra large double bed and a single bed. Right in the heart of Hat Yai; lee garden night market, morning market, mall, restaurants, hawkers and shops all at doorstep. No parking on site, but they can arrange for inexpensive paid parking at the building just opposite.
The location of Chinatown Living Hotel is very good, it is very convenient to be away from various famous attractions such as Lee Garden, Kim Yong Market and so on. Moreover, the hotel is also close to 2 units of 7-11 convenience stores. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is also 24-hour customer service and security.
Hotel is old but value for the money. They could have change the wardrobe in rooms, bathroom doors and all because it's broken n look pretty old. Also lighting was bad. Only 2 white lights which is not so bright. Room lights needed to change and added new ones. Otherwise all good. Not so near by walking distance to Lee garden.
Overall is the hotel provide exceptional good service. Ms Chin the operator of the hotel is so kind to help pack food for us so we can hv lunch during a train ride back to KL., besides in arranging transport and guide us for good foods. Execellent service with clean and comfy bed.
Excellent design of the boutique hotel. unexpected to have this in town.
Not many rooms. Service level is compared with 5 stars resort.
Personal cater for everything.
Pool is super nice. Will only stay in this hotel if we visit Hat Yai again.
and for the price. Unbeatable.
Most staff freindly, It was clean. Although hotel is getting on in years its nice to see care and maintenance unusually being applied but at a cost to a relaxed guest experience I felt. For hat yai location it is good but even with hire car is not practical for songklha.
A very clean, functional hostel with comfortable rooms. I stayed in a private bedroom without a window. It was fine for one night in Hat Yai. It's absolutely perfect for a brief transit. They also have ensuite rooms with windows if you are planning to stay longer.
The location was good and parking was abundant. Walking distance to Makro, Central Festival and Asean Night Bazar. Rooms are spacious and clean. All staffs are kind and always greet you with a smile. Will definitely be one of my favorite choice of hotel in Hatyai.
The room is very big for two person it's very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and nice. I like how they provide the bidet for the toilet. Definitely will repeat to stay here again when I visit Hat Yai later. Worth every penny for a very nice room.
Location is superb as this hotel literally across the Central Hat Yai Mall. The hotel is beautiful always full of functions, I can see they did provide good services and proper facilities for the guests. Hope they can maintain their services :)
The location not far from tourist hot spots. the room spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. A lot of parking space. Suitable for those who drive their own car to hatyai.I think it is one the best hotel in hatyai
Room was exceptionally clean, own balcony, very quiet neighborhood about 1km from central Hat Yai, so easy to walk. Universal outlets and lamp also appreciated. Aircon works well. Hot shower. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location. Nearby to the train station. Just a walking distance. Room size are just nice. Clean and tidy. Will recommend others to experience the stay at this hotel. Hotel is near to Lee Garden night market.
Great hostel in a central location in Hat Yai! I was just here for a stop-over, as most travelers may be… but I found it very comfy and welcoming, I would have stayed longer!! Thank you for the great stay🙏
This hotel is a bit old tho, but very near to Hat Yai train station. Location is excellent, centre. Walk to nearest cafe infront of hotel & another block. 7E just nearby, across the road!!
Good location and comfortable room in central Hat Yai. The night markets is just below the hotel with plenty of street food, souvenir & Thai body/foot message.
