Unexpectedly, we arrived late at night, still the hosts showed tolerance and welcomed us with a smile. Also the host was very helpful in advising and recommendations. Breakfast was great (Just adding some vegetables for Israelis' breakfast would be amazing (: ) Very clean and nice.

Beautiful, quiet location near the lake: perfect for waking up early to go for a swim first thing in the morning. After that, we were delighted by the fantastic breakfast, which offered a wide selection including freshly baked croissants, cold meats, fruits, cheeses and local honey and jams. The château itself was lovely, with fun historic vibes and nice grounds perfect for families. It was very peaceful there at night - there was a fountain out the front that provided a very nice ambience. The staff were all very kind. For animal lovers there were horses, cats, dogs and even a goat kept on the grounds. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed (kettle, microwave and mini-fridge were a huge bonus). A big thank you to the staff at Château de Chanteraine for a wonderful stay!
