very cozy farm and fantastic breaks-fast, locally made fresh honey is a must try, you’ll love it. Lake view is tremendous. Host is super nice and welcoming, she helped us to book a nearby restaurant which required reservations and we were lucky as there was a cancellation, best value ever!

The location of this property was in close proximity to multiple lavender fields. As a bonus, there is a quaint village within minutes walking that has a couple of restaurants. Also, the host was amazing and the property was well kept!

from the booking through the welcoming email and then the greatest hospitality of Tom and Barbara was outstanding. Tell him how to make the best of this spot recommended activities as well as restaurant and even sent us on our way with the most scenic route possible. Barbara, homemade yogurts and amazing breakfast was something to wait for every morning.

Beautiful, quiet location near the lake: perfect for waking up early to go for a swim first thing in the morning. After that, we were delighted by the fantastic breakfast, which offered a wide selection including freshly baked croissants, cold meats, fruits, cheeses and local honey and jams. The château itself was lovely, with fun historic vibes and nice grounds perfect for families. It was very peaceful there at night - there was a fountain out the front that provided a very nice ambience. The staff were all very kind. For animal lovers there were horses, cats, dogs and even a goat kept on the grounds. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed (kettle, microwave and mini-fridge were a huge bonus). A big thank you to the staff at Château de Chanteraine for a wonderful stay!
