Great view especially the sunset from the private bath! Also the room was kindly upgraded when checked in.
(1) The staff at reception were all very friendly. The Japanese uncle was nice to try to explain the information in Chinese and English phrases, the young Japanese gentleman and the Southeast looking girl all spoke perfect English, very helpful all the time~ (2) The onsen was great, nice view, comfortable temperature. (3) The sunset view from the lobby cafe was beautiful and the place was absolutely so peaceful to wjust sit and chill.
The private bath is awesome and the location let's you see spectacular sunsets/sunrises. The public bath is small and really nice, relaxing and wasn't too busy.
Good location with an easy 10 minute walk to the Gondola. Close to convenience store and a handful of restaurants within a few hundred metres. Very clean and Hiro is an excellent host. Communal kitchen could get a little crowded but that was OK. Excellent hot showers. A little noisy but that was more the people than the place. Bonus is bus stop for Hokkaido Resort Liner right outside the door. Would stay again for sure.
The location was amazing, easily walking distance to the gondola but it was luxurious having the shuttle service! The room was very large compared to other stays in Japan, hot shower in the room and hot hotel onsen. The restaurant dinner menu was delicious.
Breakfast was good, get to choose from 2 options (japanese or seafood rice bowl). There are also other complimentary food like tea, coffee, milk, pastry available. The location is next to the canal and the famous sunset view. Get to see a nice canal view from the hotel window. Room is reasonably spacious and a good stay for our family of 3.
Close to the slopes. Quiet street. Warmth in the room. Some nice sunset when the weather is good.
Amazing setting in the wilderness.
- Free shuttle to and from the slopes for guests, also near a local bus stop - very comfy beds - very warm cosy bedrooms - warm showers - great kitchen area - restaurant - lovely family run place, staff are very kind and friendly - nature focused, with an appreciation for local wildlife which was interesting - authentic Japanese experience - ski & boot room
