This tented camp exceeded all of our expectations. The tents were beautiful - had everything we needed. We booked a river tent and so glad we did, the view was breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have elephants cross the river and walk right past our little balcony. The bed was v comfy, wifi was spotty but better than we expected considering we were in the bush. Staff were amazing - Hazel was brilliant and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a self catering camp so be sure to stock up before arriving so you don’t need to leave the park (there’s a big shopping mall is Hazeyview which is about an hour from the Kruger gate). Stayed for three nights and loved every minute. Can’t wait to come back!

There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with a hairdryer and free toiletries. A continental or buffet breakfast is available each morning at the property. An amazing property of 10 tents so it feels wonderfully intimate and this means the game drives don’t feel crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly, food exceptional and the rooms sensitively decorated, comfortable with hot showers. The pool is perfect to relax between game drives. The site has been planted out with succulents making the garden areas unique but really beautiful and less dependent on water than other species. Leopard and hyena routinely pass through the property. At night you can hear lion not far off and in the day all manner of bird life make for a beautiful sound. it’s very easy to spend a couple of hours looking at the view and taking it all in. We were made to feel right at home and had a fantastic 2 night stay.

It was a wonderful stay! The better that I had for sure. All was perfect, the staff was great, they organised the birthday of my daughter with cake and songs, and was always very pleasant and nice. The safari was also extraordinairy, we saw the big 5 in 1 day (2 safaris), our guide Satice, was friendly and professional. And to finish, tents are very comfortable.

The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.

Honestly I think the images under sell it, once you get there it is magical, little paradise in the bush. I wish I could have stayed longer. They respect guest and the facilities are good.

Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge borders directly on the Kruger National Park and is situated on the banks of the Crocodile River where wild animals are viewed directly from the lodge's accommodation,... Stunning lodge on the banks of the river, overlooking the park. The rooms are even nicer than the pictures…. Great view, spacious and beautifully decorated. Dinners, shared with the other guests, were delicious. The breakfast packs provided for those wanting to make an early start were equally as good. The hosts were extremely welcoming and we learnt so much from them. Their knowledge on insects was especially fascinating . We look forward to returning in the near future.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was our first stop on our South African honiday. Stephanie, Stephan, Carolyn and the whole team are just wonderful hosts.

This 5-star luxury tented lodge is surrounded by ancient trees and wildlife in the Kruger National Park. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The level of service was impeccable and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. The lodge was truly incredible, providing the perfect balance of a traditional colonial style and luxury. We were surrounded by so much wildlife from baboons wondering around the campsite to hippos and elephants on the river bank. The food was exceptional, consisting of amazing three course meals every day. Our safari guide Nicholas was an absolute star! He was so experienced and knowledgeable and went to great lengths to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. I couldn’t recommend Hamilton’s any more! We will definitely be returning!

Shindzela is a tented safari camp, set in a traversing area within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. This place is just amazing. The staff is incredible, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. One of the best game drive I ever done. If you are in any doubt book it straight away! 100% recommended
