A very warm welcome in colder winter times 😉 A nice touch were the electric blankets that warmed the bed. The diner was warm and filling, perfect after a day of driving. The place was very clean. My son loved the hot chocolate !

Lovely peacocks roaming free Only 1 monkey but understandable given post Covid - although would prefer to caged animals at all as not really why we went. Host was very keen to make our stay comfortable and hospitable. Ask for the bottom chalet with fire pit if you have a choice.

Breakfast was excellent, and our hosts Isobel and Waldo were helpful and friendly.
