At first glance I wondered "why don't we stay in the old town?", Then I understood that the place is only three minutes by foot to the main street with all the lovely buildings and restaurants in old Riquewihr. Great breakfast with lokal cheese, fresh bread and croissants from lokal bakery. Very nice rooms. Very nice owner who told us everything worth to be told.
Located on the heights of Riquewihr, just a 2-minute walk from the city center, this holiday home features a terrace with BBQ facilities and 2 gardens.

The house and the garden were lovely - everything was perfect. It felt as being in a paradise. A perfect place to wind down and to relax. It was very interesting to see how Jean-Luc is growing the vegetables for his restaurant. Jean-Luc is a very nice host (and of course a great chef) !! We also enjoyed the walks through the woods and the vineyards which are very near to the accommodation. Thank you very much for our nice stay!

Nicely decorated and the rooms are upstairs.
Although we felt bad bumping in in their living area, there was much space upstairs for us guests and even a lounge area in front of the room.
The private bathroom in the assigned room was modern, clean and well equipped.

One of my favorite villages in France! Easily walkable and gorgeous views. Great restaurants and street vendors, beautiful architecture, & friendly locals. Highly recommend burgers, tarte flambée, and drinks at Le Grognard. We also enjoyed a tasting at Dopff Winery.

A beautiful little town, very quaint and charming.
A beautiful little town, very quaint and charming. Numerous shops selling local products, including ceramics, glassware, textiles, food specialities, and of course wine. Good selection of restaurants in a range of price categories, from simple snacks and meals to Michelin-star fine dining. Lovely walking trails through the surrounding vineyards. A good base from which to explore neighboring villages, such as Ribeauville'.

A beautiful and cosy little town - quite a relief after the crowds and tourist stress in Colmar. On the other hand - for us was one day enough, or you should use Riquewihr as base to travel also to other towns in the region.

We were in Riquewihr for La Parade Venetienne (for the 3rd time). We had 2 diners : Au Cerf and La Grappe D'Or. The last one is to be commended.
Getting around in Riquewihr is easy because it is so compact and the different interesting sites are close to each other.

Riquewihr is stunning, if medieval buildings and cobbled streets, set on a fairly steep incline, are your thing. There are no supermarkets or places to buy tobacco products in the town, so a car is essential for those self-catering.
I wouldn't recommend for those with mobility problems, unless you have access to somewhere to keep the scooter, nor is it ideal for young kids or teenagers. Nearby Ribeavillé probably better. But if beautiful scenery, history & excellent food are what you want, go for it!.*
(*The butterfly garden on the road to Ribeauvillé (10 mins in the car) is well worth the €9 entrance fee.)
If you're feeling flush ( it is really pretty pricey!), but can't manage a trip to Kyoto, I can't recommend Au Trotthus highly enough. The Wagyu tasting menu was breathtaking, the setting gorgeous, the staff lovely, and the chef took time to come and speak to his patrons in a very informal, friendly way, explaining the dishes and his passion for all things Japanese. Also, you can dress to the 9s to eat there, but you don't HAVE to. Be comfortable!
Will we be back? In a heartbeat.
Fantastic location for visiting Riquewihr with ample free parking on site which was a massive plus for us. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and speak several languages. Breakfast is plentiful, especially if you like cheese, and the bread is the best we’ve had in France. Bed is large and very comfy, en-suite bathroom also spacious. There is an honesty fridge in the kitchen with beer, fizzy drinks etc and also a small fridge in the room too which is handy.
Chez coco was our best night during our tour of Alsace.
Coco and her husband bought & refurbished this alsacien house less than a year ago with a nice taste.
Location is in the heart of city in an historical street (rue des Juifs)
We stayed in Caroline room (1st floor) which very spacious and comfy.
The breakfast was with local products and simply delicious!
Easy parking nearby.
Wished we could have stayed longer.
Thank you both for your hospitality.
Lovely flat in an old house of the 16th century. Easy check in. Great communication. Nice views out of the windows. Wonderful spot to start your hikes and bike tours.
There ist a bus stop in Riquewihr. Check the timetable online or in the tourist info. There is a small marche next to the flat but a bigger supermarket in Ribeauvillé. Most of the time we walked there - it was like 45 minutes. With bus it's only 15 minutes.
Loved the location! The staff were friendly & professional. The room size was adequate & bed was comfortable. Good amenities throughout the hotel, such as small gym, heated pool - indoor & outdoor, spa, free bottle of water in the room, safety deposit box & small fridge (something you don’t always find in 3 star hotels in Europe) - . Free outdoor parking for guests. Good choice for breakfast.
Excellent location in the middle of Riquewihr. The apartment was exceptionally clean and cosy and very well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and comfortable furniture and beds. It was cosy and calm and you can walk everywhere. Great spot for cycling on the Alsace wine route too. Nathalie, the host, provided all the information we needed and was very friendly.
Located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the center of Riquewihr (5 min walk). Free parking on premises. Room was clean, good mattress, and good shower. Breakfast was standard fair-croissants, good bread, cheese, coffee, jams, juice, etc. The owner was very nice and had suggestions where to eat and sample wine.
Everything else. The house though not full of natural light had adequate light fixtures. The apartment was spacious in the be middle of town. It was beautifully decorated with parking. It was clean and the host was amazing. The outside terrace was a wonderful addition to the living space. It was very enjoyable.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The owner was also very easy to reach and quick to answer our questions. The location of the apartment is good, right in Riquewihr village. Beds were comfortable and despite the lack of airco it was quite a good temperature in the house.
The owners were very welcoming and accommodating, the bed and room were the perfect size for a solo traveler like me, and very clean. Even though I neglected to make a reservation for dinner, they made space for me, and I'm very happy they did because the food was excellent. I should have eaten more!
The outdoor pool and spa- loved this!
The rooms had air conditioning.
The terrace for meals and drinks.
The location. Quiet. Just around the corner from the village.
Hostess was absolutely amazing! Helpful and all her dinner recommendations were some of the best food we’ve had in France. The Hotel was cozy and made us feel at home.
Perfect location for an overnight stay in the heart of Riquewihr! Very kind staff and easy check-in. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.
