A lovely welcome to a lovely property that was exceptional in every respect! We would not hesitate to recommend this premises to others. Clearly cherished by the owners who greeting us on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble including advice on where to eat in town.

Good location for the town centre, nice shower with good water pressure. Staff were responsive to the door lock issues. Nice layout in the apartment.
We weren’t impressed with the town. No decent restaurants.
We weren’t impressed with the town. No decent restaurants. No public toilets. Nothing really going for it. Railway station was handy. We stayed there because we didn’t want to stay in Lyon but wanted to be in easy travelling distance.

The hotel is conveniently situated for the town but the approch to the hotel parking is more problematic due to the traffic restrictions. Approach the hotel by driving towards the station this avoids unnecessary U turns.
The breakfast was fine but the seating arrangements are strictly controlled for no apparent reason.
Take care when paying by credit card as the hotel pre-authorises the room payment with an excessive amount (800€ for a 135€ room).
The rooms are comfortable and quiet.

Nothing here really. Forgettable small town.
Nothing here really. Forgettable small town. If I didn't have to travel for work, I wouldn't bother visiting. It's not unpleasant, it's just unremarkable.
Surrounding area is lovely and easy access to Lyon though.

The staff was very helpful, respectful and polite. The restaurant was great and the food very good. It was a great stay and very easy and quick check in and check out. The waiters went beyond ordinary service and were very pleasant and accomodating. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of VIllefranche. The swimming pool on the roof and the gym were a real bonus. Highly recommend this hotel!
Very good price quality. Great service and clean. We have used this hotel several times as a perfect stop “en route” to south or ski-resort (or returning). Over the years the town has greatly improved as an inviting place to stay as well. Each time more places to eat or have a drink.
The staff was very kind, friendly and accommodated all our requests, we really appreciated it. Despite the fact that the hotel is in a commercial zone the room was quite and comfortable, parking was easy and plenty. For those traveling along the motorway it is a good location.
The hotel and its restaurant were first class. I raved about it to my wife and friends. anyone who stays there must eat at the restauarant, one of the nicest meals i have ever eaten . Fantatstic wine list and the food was great value.
Central and close to the station and a quaint hotel dating from 1807 - eight years before Waterloo. Downstairs there is an Irish pub with great staff and a live traditional Irish music session on the first Thursday of the month.
Good food, nice service, good recommendation for a nice local bottle of wine. Super comfortable bed. Very very quiet, despite the fact that hotel is next to v busy road (triple-glazing).
The staff on reception where very professional and obliging. The reception area and restaurant where what you would expect from a Campanile Hotel. The bed was comfortable.
Really liked the hotel from the moment we walked in. The entrance lobby was warm and welcoming and the receptionist was so friendly. Our room was lovely and tasteful.
