I do not beleave the reveiws for the thomas arms as on booking . com are true. because i had stayed at this hotel before be it 10 years or so ago when it was a very good standard. If as i have now done now and looked a Ttip adviser i would never have booked this hotel. There reveiws reflected exactly my experience. I rate it as the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Never again. They don`t even return calls when messages left on answerphone.

It’s a great place to stay as a base as the coastline is lovely, Llanelli centre isn’t much to write home about tbh, but there’s all the shops you would need, but as we played golf in the area it was just what we needed.

It's tricky because I live here....I love it, amazing beaches and facilities nearby, but it is a big town and there are positives and negatives as anywhere. Public transport is poor and only a few taxi companies work at night, so plan your trips well. There is a real choice of places to eat and drink and entertainment can be found for everyone most weekends. Gateway holiday park always have something going on for all the family and there are many great pubs/cafes/restaurants in town and in the surrounding villages.

Was once our family home but the lack of good employers and businesses have resulted in the town running down and forcing people with hopes of a future away. the Gower peninsula however is still a stunning beauty spot.
I get back to the area when I can as we still have family in the area and many childhood memories still.

We thought there should have been some hooks to hang large coats on Extra coat hangers would be useful As we were in the disabled room an extra chair would be a good idea As it was a disabled room a lower shelf would be handy
room very clean and tidy. staff exceptional. very friendly and helpful at all times. ample off road parking
the breakfast was excellent and great value. good central location for sightseeing. ample parking off road behind the property. 5 minutes walk from llanelli town and rail station with 15 minutes ride to swansea town center and great access to south west wales to the west via a very scenic coastal train ride.
This was a good location for us, on the outskirts of Llanelli, but near to Swansea where we were going to the Elton John Concert. Swansea Hotels had escalated their prices to ridiculous amounts (eg £750 for the night), so this was a great and inexpensive option for us. This is a private house, what I would call "bed and breakfast", with an obliging and helpful host
It's a beautiful 5 bedroom house located Llanelli town in South Wales and Helen is super host and has quick responses and we were given warm welcome.. :) the location is very close to millennium coastal walk and also short drive to Gower Peninsula and must visit is Rossili bay it is beautiful in summer on sunny day! we were lucky to have sunshine when visited.
Room lovely and spacious, room service was swift, food was lovely in restaurant, breakfast buffet was fantastic, brilliant atmosphere, great service (I didnt catch her name but a blonde polish lady serving in the restaurant was absolutely a credit to the hotel and deserves a pay rise!) Overall a really lovely stay.
Maurius the chef could not have been more helpful or obliging. His food was wonderful and he really went out of his way to look after me and make me feel so welcome. The hotel is spotless and very comfortable. The location is very quiet and peaceful.
Clean and functional as expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent with an easy walk to the town centre in a few minutes. Good evening meal, definitely good value for money.
Comfortable and quiet small hotel with nice little bar and large car park. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Brilliant location for the WWT wetland centre just a few minutes drive away.
Rooms were great hotel facilities all good - dinner was very good - Breakfast one staff member over run didn't get a hot cup of coffee until 3rd time of asking - bar area comfortable
Very well located for exploring south wales coast. Modern facilities and most things you need for a short stay, including nice touches like outdoor games for the children.
Rooms are clean and all appliances are in good condition. Good location - closer to Shops and easy to navigate across south Wales. Overall stay was comfortable. Thanks
A gem of a hotel, perfectly placed for travelling around South Wales.
Comfortable rooms, friendly owner, beautiful countryside and retail/restaurants close by.
Excellent apartment in an good location. Exceptional views from balcony overlooking the bay. Great base for exploring South Wales especially the gower.
