The location was superb, everything was accessible from this location, the room was small, but that’s the room I booked and it was perfect for my needs, the bathroom was spacious enough and the balcony offered an excellent view (the chair was placed appropriately for me to understand this. I didn’t try the breakfast so for this I cannot comment

If I could give a higher rating I would, the apartment is beautiful and perfectly situated 25 steps from the sea!! Right beside the pier for the boat to Thessaloniki and with many cafes and restaurants near by. Everything that you need for a lovely stay in Perea and our host was so helpful and very quick to respond. A huge recommendation from me.

We initially booked the room as it is very close to Thessaloniki Airport (15 minutes by car) where we had to pick up our rental car the next day.
We were welcomed with a big smile and fruit salad. Stavros is a great host, warm-hearted and helpful.
We walked down to the beach and had some nice food and drinks. You can watch lovely sunsets from the pier.
We had the room with the double bed, Stavros provided a cooling fan and a little aircon.
It’s a charming old house with a lot of cats in the back garden :)

Our flight was cancelled and I booked on short notice. They had a room available and even called me to confirm I could check in early, which was great under the circumstances. Right on the seaside with beautiful views, it was a great surprise and excellent value which made our delay experience so much nicer

Peraia is a nice relatively small town, but has everything...
Peraia is a nice relatively small town, but has everything you'd need. Reasonable supermarkets in town are available. There is a pier from where you can get a boat to Thessaloniki. The beach itself is nice and not overly busy, but busier at weekends as gets crowds in from city. The promenade is lined with bars and restaurants so whether it's a coffee, cocktail, beer or a relaxing Greek meal, there is plenty to whet the appetite. There are also a couple of small gaming places and you can hire kids bikes / scooters. A water park (Waterland Thessaloniki) is 20 minutes away by car and the city is 30 minutes away which is well worth a visit with plenty of history, culture to see and the nightlife is also vibrant in the city.

We have been to Perea several times before and love the fact that it's away from the city's business yet still close enough. We have found Perea bit cleaner than previous times however unfortunately still seeing a fair amount of pollution on the streets, beach and ocean unfortunately. Restaurants are generally very well priced with good food. Worth getting the waiter to re-read you order since there is a language gap with locals that has caused some confusion before. Would also be great if they had no smoking restaurants and beaches but rather designated smoking areas. Non smokers, pregnant women and children are constantly exposed to second hand smoke and buds are littered everywhere. Would definitely be a hotspot and highly recommended after a clean up.

It was away from the beach, about a kilometer and a half, up a slight hill that allowed us to see the water and Thessaloniki at night. Very comfortable, two balconies that allowed cross ventilation. Our hosts John and Mary where very kind and helpful and in the end because of the timing of our flight back to New York, John dropped us off at the airport on his way to work. I can’t say enough about how nice it was to stay at their home.

The Wi-Fi is excellent. When we arrived in the room, we found two bottles of water, butter and jam in the fridge, tost bread, coffee, tea and sugar. It was close enough to Thesseloniki by car, although we missed out on the shuttle boat to Thesseloniki (closed for winter season). Car parking was tight in Thesseloniki, but fortunately we had great free parking at the port on the Sunday. However, parking on the Monday took awhile. Car parking was not a problem on the streets around the hotel.

We only used the room for one night before our return flight from the airport. The room is very suitable for this and is sufficiently equipped. The boulevard of Peraia (bars, restaurants, etc.) gives us a bit of the Greece holiday feeling in the evening on the last day of our holiday.
