Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Perhaps the reason is big number of tourists who want to visit different parts of the island.

Rhodes town exceeded my expectations.
Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive.
Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. There are a couple of establishments who trick you into a 'medium' or 'large' beer and they bring out 2L pints costing ££££.

The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Buses to visit Lindos are good for a day out. Be aware that there are cats everywhere. Also cruise ships passengers make the streets packed.

I enjoyed everything!
I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. Easy to rent a car and go discovering other areas of the island. Would've loved to stay longer.

A lovely and historical town but we had a few too many days there. The old town is great, go off the beaten track to avoid the tourist traps and find the more interesting cafes, restaurants and shops. The modern part of the town was like anywhere in the world and the sea front is littered with gaudy monstrosities of jail like hotels. Very glad we stayed in the old town which was quirky, quiet and personal.

By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle...
By far the most impressive thing about Rhodes is the castle and the history of the area. Has to be the biggest and most grande set of fortifications any - where . I visited at the end of Feb. so no beaches. Weather is still pleasant around + 16 - +20 good temperature for hiking. I took fast ferry to Halki-one hour- walked and climbed to Castle of the Knights of St John. Took appr. 1 hr to walk - wouldn’t be fun in summer - take water. As i visited at the end of Feb. great deals on hotels, restaurants were not busy , but weather still very pleasant.
The location was incredible, the roof top deck and gardens beautiful, The rooms clean and comfortable, And most of all the owners were beyond hospitable and accommodating. Manos went out of his way to meet our every need and help us out when we felt overwhelmed by the newness of Greece. Sambica greeted us every morning with a coffee and a smile and everyone made us feel like a cherished part of the family. It was the best introduction to Greek life we could have hoped for.
Everything really but having stayed in similar all inclusive options previously this exceeded expectations. Great location within walking distance of old and new town areas. Loads to do in and out of the hotel. Comfortable beds. excellent variety of good quality food and drink options, provision of beach loungers and towels. great saltwater pools. Seaview room worth extra cost if you like to sit and watch the sunset. Lovely staff. Covid testing at reasonable price on site.
Phenomenal place in the heart of old town. The perfect spot if you are looking for the authentic Rhodes experience. Our host was friendly, accommodating, and communicative! He offered to spruce the place up on our second day.
The private rooftop added to the magic. Very spacious for two people... Two large bedrooms, and a main room/foyer. Many windows allowing the natural sounds of old town to spill in.
Would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
Excellent location at the Northern tip of Rhodes Town with access to the beaches on the Western (windy) and Eastern (more calm) sides of the island. Also, you have access to the pool at the Cactus hotel across the street--a reasonable sized pool with a large area for sunbeds unlike many hotels in Rhodes Town. There is also a bar and restaurant at the pool.
The sea views from the rooms are fantastic. The superior rooms on the top floors are renovated.
Our stay in Rhodes was incredibly special and made even more so by staying at Zacosta! Amazing place and made to feel extremely welcome from John and Nikos. They went above and beyond for us. Hotel holds so much charm and elegance and extremely clean. Breakfast on the terrace each morning set us up for a another great day on the island. Location is perfect- if you go to Rhodes town you have to stay here! Gary&Beth, Scotland.
Shuttle service from the ferry pier was much appreciated! The hotel is fantastic. Clean, comfortable, well furnished, AC in each room.
The location is ideal to get lost in the small street of the old city.
The staff could not be more welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay as agreeable as possible.
We highly recommend this boutique hotel, without any reservations whatsoever.
The owner Marianna is an attentive hostess and very professional. She reflects the very best of her native Denmark and her adopted country, Greece. The staff are quietly efficient and friendly. Breakfast is hearty and varied. The hotel is located just inside the old city and all major landmarks are easily within walking distance. It has character through and through. Highly recommended.
Wonderful hotel. Near the beach, bus stop to the airport, taverns, shops. Very comfortable and quiet. Very comfortable bed, cleaning every day, change of towels. The territory is beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfast.
The owners of the hotel are the best people in Greece. They saved my life, and I will be eternally grateful to them. I highly recommend it for living
Location is awesome, a rooftop restaurateur with the best view of the old city. Minos and Patricia were gracious and accommodating. Food and drink availability is so convenient when you are tired from a day of walking. As the hotel was not full, we were upgraded at no additional fee, to a suite of two rooms. So peaceful, we slept with the windows open.
The view from my little deck was great, had cocktails while the sun set. The staff were exceptional and helped me with some travel issues. The evening bartender was great to talk with and learn about Rhodes. This is a great older hotel, away for the tourist crowds. Breakfast was wonderful after my swim in the sea each morning.
Staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Anna on reception! Breakfast had a great selection choice, pool area was a very good size, rooms were great with loads of plug sockets - really clean and comfy beds. The hotel is a great location right on the beach and a short walk into the old town.
Amazing location, close to Mandraki port and only 10mins to the old Town. Bed was super comfortable, shower first rate, and food amazing - buffet style with plenty of choice. We highly recommend this hotel and had one of the best holidays ever, exploring fabulous Rhodes Town. Loads to see and do!
The location is very good near to old town and sea facing with restaurants supermarket and bustop all nearby.
Above Oceanfront restaurant the sign board for the hotel may not be in view but once you checkin its a comfortable stay. We stayed for 6days and it was a nice time.
This is my go to hotel in Rhodes town. Ideally located for shops , short walk to old town, acropolis, scooter hire .
When asked for things that are out of the ordinary they try their best to help. Full.marks for this place.
Location is brilliant! literally on the beach and 10min to old town of Rhodos. Staff was very nice and helpful. Travelling during pandemic is quite stressful, was very convenient that hotel offers pre departure testing
We stayed at In Camera for our first 2 nights of our trip to Rhodes. Once again we felt so welcomed at the In Camera hotel. We were so happy to see our dear friends we made last year.
A very nice small family hotel in a quiet alley just off the main hustle and bustle of the old town of Rhodes, with a good AC and a small balcony with a view on the old town walls.
Clean and spacious rooms - true to the photos. The included buffet breakfast was great.
Hotel is well located in Rhodes Town and we could walk to the Old Town, Beach & Harbour.
