The location is great, walking distance to the old town of Ait Ben haddou. It has private off road parking, a couple of terraces to sit on and a nice lounge area. The staff were amazing, run off their feet busy but still cheerful and very helpful. We ate there in the evening and the food was very good. The breakfasts include fresh made omelette and orange juice as well as pastries, olives etc

Their hospitality. I had a problem with my camera which I lost on a room that was assigned to me by error. They managed to get it back. Just awesome

Most people come here for a few hours. I stayed for 3 days and could have stayed longer. It’s a lovely friendly town where you can spend time browsing through small shops, visiting art galleries, watching the night sky and soaking up the ambiance of this historical place. The highlight was a full day trip on horseback with Cheval Aït Ben Haddou. They have a Google page.

It's a really quiet town honestly.
It's a really quiet town honestly. It is a convenient place to stop, half way between Marrakesh and Merzouga but i feel like half a day would be plenty to see it all. I spent two days and it was definitely too long. The city itself is nothing special, rather touristy. Plenty of tour buses stop for the day, so it gets crowded between 11 to 5, but insanely quiet a night once they're all gone. I highly recommend La Terraza for dinner, they actually have delicious Italian food, with charcuterie and cheese, and their pizza and pasta are authentic. They also serve alcohol which is super hard to find in small morrocan towns like this one.

The kasbah was great to visit. Enjoyed the climb.
The kasbah was great to visit. Enjoyed the climb. Found some good shops for souvenirs. Brilliant views. Stunning scenery. Not much in the town / Main Street. Just a few cafes. The main attraction is the kasbah. Find a hotel with a roof top to enjoy the view and take in some star gazing too.

The Riad was outstanding and situated about 4 miles from Ait Benhaddou itself. Taxi about 50 dirhams to get there. Admission is free to the site, although people will try and get you to give them 100 dirhams to enter. The Hotel itself is sensational and the Manager Fatima and her team are brilliant. The view to the river gorge from the dining room is outstanding .

The ksar is beautiful and takes you back in time.
The ksar is beautiful and takes you back in time. Highly recommend climbing to the top for wonderful views. Had a hearty lunch at Auberge Azaddou Tamlalte which serves delicious tagine as well as spectacular views of the ksar. Would be careful about entering people's homes in the ksar despite warm invitations as they demand money after the house tour without saying anything about it upfront.

The setting is still unique, but due to the total lack of care and maintenance the place will be eroded in a few years. It is just a crumbling background to the fleecing of passing tourist trade. A walk to the top granary is still worth it for the view, but a couple of hours will be more than enough.
The history of the Kasbah, the same family has been running it for 4 centuries.
The food, the location and the charming use of candles as night.
It is a singular experience. I've stayed in many amazing hotels around the world and although this was not the most expensive, or the most glamorous, it certainly has the most character.
The roof top is phenomenal. I have not seen the stars and skies this way in two decades (blame it on living in a polluted metropolis).
The location and the VIEW from the terrace were unbeatable. The hotel manager was wonderful. Breakfast was simple, but delicious and all we needed to collect ourselves and carry on from there. If you’re looking for something comparable to the Hilton, you won’t find it anywhere in this area. But if you’re looking for a comfortable, authentic experience/stay in this unique Berber town, Dar Mouna is the place and the staff will make you FEEL like you’re at the Hilton.
The best view in all Aït Ben Haddou! Besides the view this hotel offers a wonderful pool and daily breakfast. Mohammed took care of everything we might wish for during our stay and treated us like royalty. He really made our stay so wonderful! We travelled with a baby and Mohammed made sure that even he got a nice breakfast, toys and all the space to play. I would 100% go back to this hotel if I were to travel to the region again.
Such a magical stay in Kasbah Tebi. At night, the Kasbah is lit with candles in the common areas and the rooms. We had a delicious candlelight dinner. The room was very comfortable, the view is stunning and the staff is the nicest. This is one of only two hotels in the old part of Ait Ben Haddou. Kuddos to the owner for investing in renovating the Kasbah and sharing his passion for this heritage with us!
One of the best places to stay anywhere! The warm welcome and friendly host, the outstanding food, the spacious views, the beautifully designed and decorated building, the comfy beds, the music - everything was great!
If you want to stay near Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate, this is the place to be.
We loved our stay here and the stunning aspect. The property is just outside of Ait Ben Haddou looking back into the village and we enjoyed the peacefulness of this. It is just a few minutes drive but you will need your own car or driver.
Very simple, understated, but beautiful Berber style, and the warmest of welcomes from the whole team. Don’t go there if your expectation is glitzy hotel, but do choose this property if you want a warm and more authentic experience.
The pictures did not do this place justice and the food was the best we had while touring Morocco. This is a hidden gem in the heart of Ait Ben Haddou. Rachid and his staff are on point and show true morrocan hospitality.
Great location for a walk to the kasbah. Staff was amazing. Food was great. Hotel was beautiful and nicely decorated. Wonderful value for the money. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend!
Both the breakfast and dinner are delicious. The location is convenient and about 5 minutes to the centre of Ait Ben Haddou. The room is spacious and tidy. We love the quiet environment of the area.
we spent here one night after a visit to air ben haddou. this kasbah is amazing, with comfortable rooms, and beautifully decorated. we also had a very good dinner here. absolutely recommended!
Beautifully decorated rooms, it’s the best location to stay in Ait Ben Haddou. Quiet when all the day tourists are gone. Only 5min climb to see the sunset and sunrise. Very friendly hosts.
Everything is good here. The food are the best in Ait Ben Haddou.
Good air conditioner, very good swimming-pool. We spent 3 days here!
