We stayed for 1 night en route back from the Sahara. Adequate for 1 night, but not the most comfortable or cleanest place we've stayed. The Kasbah and the grounds are very nice. Staying at a Kasbah was a great experience, but it was lacking a bit of refinement and just a little too rustic for us. The evening meal we had was absolutely delicious, the breakfast was plentiful and the staff were lovely.
Located in Skoura, 4 km from Kasbah Amridil, Kasbah des cyprès provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

We had a very good stay. Friendly staff and owners who would do anything to make you feel at home. Beautiful house and rooms.

Beautiful and chilling resort which is very kid friendly. We spent a lot of time in the swimming pool. The farm visit was great, plenty of fruit trees to see and kids can ride pony, feed donkeys, play with rabbits and other farm animals which was a great half day out. There are also hamam, massage and facial. We tried all and these are very relaxing. The initial exfoliation part for the facial is a bit rough, but the final outcome was great resulting in very smooth skin. Small children playground and also some ball games are available too. Plenty of apricots rippen in the trees during our visit in late May. Very tasty and can pick and eat any time. Food is delicious. Staff is very friendly, especially Kader, Majid and Aziiza.
Boasting mountain views, Eco-Ferme Tamalait Skoura offers accommodation with patio, around 2.6 km from Kasbah Amridil.

It’s a little paradise with its cosy cabins and many areas to relax. The food is exceptional, dinner as well as breakfast, and served in a romantic atmosphere. Most of the food is from their own crops. The hosts are very friendly. They will even wash your clothes if needed.
Situated on the banks of the Dades River in Morocco, Kasbah Elmehdaoui offers comfortable guestrooms and is 5 km from Skoura village.

This was definitely one of our best hotel in Morocco.

Remote tranquil auberge / B&B just next to an oase just outside Skoura (go for a walk). Very friendly host. Very clean. We had a room with shared terras overviewing the oase. Very pleasant stay. Nice dinner, simple breakfast.

Really nice stay in the middle of a palme grove and nature.
Traditional Kasbah accommodation with nice staff that welcomed us late in the evening. Nice big terrace were to have breakfast in the morning.
Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice.
Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs.
There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.

This was a bird-watching holiday and we chose Skoura because it was accessible to known birding sites to the west and the east. However, we discovered that Skoura, and Sidi Flah a few miles to the south, are brilliant birding and walking locations in their own right.

Scenic and interesting, with nice side trips to a gorge and a casbah. But in a first trip to Morocco where we wanted to see Fez, Marrakech & the desert, there wasn't much time to squeeze in more at Skoura.

The family was very nice and friendly.
The family was very nice and friendly. Very friendly personal, nice view, Eventhough we arrived late, they prepared us the whole dinner (soup, main and desert) which costs 9 eur per person. Breakfast was also delicious.

We stayed one night in Amridil hotel during our one week drive through the SE part of Morocco. The accommodation is super nice. From the rooftop you can see the medieval Amerhidil kashbah surrounded by thousands of palm trees. The hotel is the perfect place for an enroute stopover. The staff is very kind and does everything to organise a pleasant stay, including serving a tasteful dinner using ingredients from their own garden. I don't think a better price quality ratio can be found in this area.
Everything was so beautiful. The rooms were large and nicely appointed. It was the grounds that really made our stay idyllic though — the gardens and pool area are stunningly beautiful. The dinner was also spectacular and maybe the best meal we had on the trip (and we went to some very nice restaurants and stayed at some of the best hotels). Lastly, the new owner is really lovely. She truly cared how we felt about our stay and what feedback we had. Her staff is also excellent and attentive.
Ahmed, wife Fatima, children Younessef and Sara and his mother were so welcoming. Ahmed met as in town and led us to his historic home in the middle of the oasis. Fatima cooked a great supper for us with less than one hour's notice and also provided a big breakfast with home made crepe and bread. The guest house was huge, the bedroom warm with lots of hot water and the bed linen was
very comfortable. This is a VERY special place that Ahmed has opened close to the Dar Ahlam hotel.
We found our best hotel in morocco this trip. The upgraded room was large and well equipped. Our host spoke good English and was very friendly and helpfull. The grounds of the hotel are nice with orange and pomegranate trees. Very tranquil. We had a very good dinner and breakfast.
Wifi worked, but was a bit weak at times. Good enough in most places.
As mentioned, easily the best place we stayed. Too bad we could only stay one night due to our schedule. We'll be back.
The hotel is set within a museaum, and the host explained a lot about the culture and development of society in Morocco. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the food was superb. An enjoyable and memorable stay in an amazing building with friendly and exceptionally helpful hosts. Star gazing from the roof was an added bonus.
It is a lovely old village fort, nicely decorated and just near the Palm Oasis of Skoura. A wonderful getaway from busy Marrakesh, it feels that time has stopped there. No noise, no rush and everyone takes their time to chat with you. The staff is super nice and friendly and help you with everything. The food is great and always followed by tea. The rooms are simple but comfortable.
It is such a beautiful resort and the host Nicola is really friendly! We had some interesting conversations with him about his family's life and work experience in Morocco. Everything is perfect. The dinner and the breakfast are fresh and tasty. My elder son also really enjoyed the cute animal farm. Do go and check out if you are traveling with kids.
Mohammed’s wife was by far the best cook i have had in morocco. And mohammed was very helpful with knowledge of my route going forward. He also offered to show me around in his car and take me to the grand taxi stand when i left.
They have a very good garden and most of the food and goat cheese was from what they grew or made themselves.
Very nice lodge with a beautiful garden and a big and nice pool located in the Unesco world heritage oasis in Skoura. Our house/room was big and beautifully furnished. Delicious breakfast and dinner. There are good facilities in the garden (table tennis, beach volley, palyground etc)
Beautiful oasis in between Marrakech and the Sarah. A welcome stay consider 2 nights to enjoy all the amenities.
Rooms large and clean, facilities excellent, breakfast was lovely. The beautiful pool and garden are clean with plenty of space. Must add to your trip to Morocco
we stayed at this hotel as it was on the way of our route. It was clean, well maintained, and service was good. It has a pool, where we have seen people were swimming after the long desert day to relax. Food was nice and a lot. We couldn't eat all. It was same for breakfast.
Abdou was an incredibly gracious host. Staying was a lovely experience and we would happily stay again. We drank tea, had lovely conversations and adored his garden!! Home stays such as this are one of the things that make Morocco special!!
Our host Mohammed was so enthusiastic and welcoming! We felt he really went out of his way to make our stay excellent. The swimming pool was wonderful, and the food amazing. Staying in this kasbah was a highlight of our trip to Morocco.
the riad is located in a beautiful garden just outside Skoura. The manager is one of extraordinary kindness, the food is exceptional, and the attention given to the guests is extreme.
One of the most wonderful places to go in Morocco
Magical dinner in the garden with typical music
And absolutely the best palm dates to taste in Morocco!
