Great place in a beautiful setting. Clean and new. Didn't use the kitchen but it was modern and nice. Small bedrooms but no shared walls like in a hotel or apartment. We enjoyed it.

You get what you pay for, it’s not a posh hotel or premier inn. But as advertised it’s a room with bathroom attached. But it was lovely and cosy, clean sheets and clean bathroom, fresh towels, tea and coffee, kettle, iron and board in room. We slept very well the bed was lovely and comfy and such a quiet area of town. The owner was so lovely too. So yes I’d stay here again for a wee overnight while sightseeing in Edinburgh. 🙏

Even though I stayed in the “courtroom” which was around 30 beds/ pods in one room it was awesome!! Great layout, great room, comfy stay and no noise or unreasonable disturbances at all. Also very clean and well maintained standards throughout. Unbeatable location, and as a solo traveller would stay again. Highly recommend

The place is ok if you just need a place to sleep in and you are not too fussy about facilities. My room had only 1 bed and the bathroom, no windows and no extra space but for a night one stay it was quite comfy. Price was a little high, I understand it is right in the city centre but it is basically a cabin room with no windoes - feels like sleeping in a boat cabin

I had an amazing stay here. There was a free walking tour which I took part of, and it was really awesome having Sarah show us round the town and tell us stories about it. It was also my birthday and I got a celebration doughnut courtesy of the CoDE team, it was really thoughtful of them. Pods are so private and comfy. Bathroom and toilet was clean. I love the proximity of the hostel to Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Palace of Holyroodhouse.

great staff, location, room and facilities! clean and welcoming. bed was comfy. supplied with coffee pods and and umbrella. tv was great but signal was a bit rubbish, didn’t need it much though. Able to leave our luggage before and after check out which was helpful so we could still explore the city without worrying about our bags. calm and wonderful experience with this place. highly recommend

The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen utensils and furniture were all in fantastic condition. The apartment was cosy and felt homely. The bedrooms had ample space and the beds were really comfy. Really nice touch having a coffee machine, detergent, washing pods, soap etc at hand. The apartment was just a 10 minute walk for us to walk to the Commonwealth Pool and shops which was perfect for our stay.
