Guests will have a special experience as the mobile home provides a fireplace. Located in Holmrook, Parkgate Farm features accommodation with a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. The estate was beautiful, peaceful and clean. The owners were very helpful , the husband actually came to pick us up from another place we had stayed in, when roads were closed and even took us to the grocery store! He refused to charge us for this help!

Thornthwaite Farm is set amidst the scenery of the Woodland Valley, in Broughton-in-Furness. Lake Windermere is just 13 miles from the property. Fantastic views and wonderful walks from the property itself

Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

Clean and tidy. Facilities were great and loved the walks nearby. Great for a weekend getaway and no doubt ideal for longer stays too.

Featuring a private entrance, this mobile home also comprises 2 bedrooms, a seating area and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Beauview was beautiful. Clean stylish, tidy and spacious. Really nice to have tea and coffee, shampoo and super fluffy towels. The site is wonderful a real hidden gem with the Lakeside Costal walks, Aqua Park and the Ski Bar we had all we needed on our doorstep. Our 2 boys 9 & 12 were very happy as were we. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us. We would definitely be back. Infact we can’t wait to head back it was such a lovely place. We were lucky enough to enjoy sunny afternoons as the locals tell us it has its own micro climate.
