These spacious tents are not located in the Fort premises but in the camp 40 km away at the foot of private sand dunes. perfect location tucked away inside the fort, very safe loveliest staff you can imagine, very helpful in making the best of your time in Jaisalmer, we were given a great tour guide and the best advise for restaurants etc amazing breakfast and the best view from our room comfortable bed

This tent's standout feature is the fireplace. Guests will find a refrigerator and a tea and coffee maker in the kitchen. The tent also features a barbecue. Everything was perfect at Elefantastic. The staff was helpful, the accomodations were beautiful and the breakfast was superb. It couldn't have been better. Thanks!

Set in Jaisalmer, Desert Residency camp Jaisalmer with swimming pool features 4-star accommodation with private balconies. Our experience with them was awesome. The warmth with which they treat their customers is remarkable.The desert safari,camel ride, Rajasthani folk dance and yes,not to forget the open DJ party in the end made all the difference. We have been to many places but I want to say that because of their hospitality only,our trip has been the best till date and these guys are so awesome in their work.A very special thank you from us to you guys. The tent offers air conditioning, a private entrance, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom boasting a bath. The unit has 1 bed. We visited Sandcastle Resort while touring India on our motorcycles and were extremely pleased by the quality of our accommodation. The resort is close to the attractions in Jaisalmer but also far enough away to provide peace, quiet and tranquility. The finish and decor in our room was brilliant, the bed was extremely comfortable, everything was clean, and our host was kind and helpful. Many thanks for a relaxing stay!

Offering free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a bidet and a hairdryer. I would give this place 11/10 if I could. This is the one place we stayed in India where we felt like truly special guests, and all the staff went out of their way to treat us well and help us in any way they could. The facilities are all very clean, the rooms are spacious and superbly equipped, and the garden is tranquil - and in a few more years, when the new trees are grown, it'll look like a little paradise I'm sure. The entire hotel complex is not very large, and was extremely quiet when we were there. The restaurant food is delicious and the location is good for escaping the busy towns or reaching Sariska (Thaler gate!!), though entrance road is a little rough. Transport by rickshaw was arranged for us from Rajgarh train station, and then to Alwar when we left. And special thanks to Rahul, who was more than happy to help us in any way he possibly could, and was available 24/7 - no matter what - to help us out.

The owner hanif and staff were so helpful starting with a free pickup from the train station and at the end he even took us to the train station at 2 am for free! He also arranged an 1night 2 day desert safari for us, and was available for any questions we had. The safari he arranged was a great experience. Our camel safari guide babu was the absolute best, really recommend asking for him if you’re planning to do the safari! He brings a great cheerful vibe and cooks delicious meals and chai (and teaches you how to) on open fire in the desert. He is also a very interesting and funny guy and really made our trip a memorable one :). The hostel has a very homey vibe and babu also told us the owner is always very good to him and his staff, which is always good to hear!

Laying back on the sand dune while watching Milky Way on the clear night sky was my memorable experience in the desert camp. I highly recommend fellow tourists to take this opportunity to explore legendary Thar desert. The camels of Kamal (our human host 😁) are good and well behaved boys. So we do not need to be afraid of riding these well trained camels and watching the amazing panorama view of Thar desert on their back. We are served with freshly cooked meal with Rajastani style. I admit that it is so delicious and mouth watery. Having dinner under the open sky and chatting with our guides and fellow travellers, listening live Rajastani folk music (it is a thing we should not miss), all are cherries on the top. Thanks Kamal, Sidhu and Ba for their helping hand and showing warmly Rajastani spirit.
