Our room, the house, the owners were all charming. The breakfast served was delicious. The mushrooms and tomatoes were the best I tasted in my 10 day tour of Wales/England

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Old Vicarage offers accommodation with water sports facilities and free WiFi. The proprietors, Michael and Diane, could not have been more friendly and helpful, with booking us into the local pub for dinner and suggestions about what to explore in the village. The breakfast was delicious, beds and room comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the setting beautiful.

The hosts were so attentive, instantly replied to our messages and extra requests. Well equipped, comfortable and spotless accommodation. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful location.

Aberllynfi Riverside Guest House, a property with a garden, is situated in Glasbury, 45 km from Elan Valley, 10 km from Clifford Castle, as well as 19 km from Brecon Cathedral. Fantastic location with an amazing view of the lake. The room had character but was tastefully decorated. The entrance and staircase is incredible! Breakfast was top notch. It was a great stay.

Set in Machynlleth, in a historic building, 38 km from Aberystwyth Golf Club, The Old Vicarage B&B, Corris is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and bar. Breakfast was heavenly: delicious and such attention to detail. I live in Japan and this was right up there in terms of 'omotenashi' which means hospitality. Furnishings, decor also first rate. I want to live here!
