We stayed at this charming riverside Gîte for 3 nights and enjoyed the views overlooking the Dordogne river. David was a kind and gracious host. It was perfect, quiet and romantic. We miss our evenings there enjoying the sunset, sipping wine that we got from the vineyards, with cheese from the local cheesemonger Le Goût de Gijou. It was a good base to explore Bergerac, Issigeac and Eymet! We also drove as far eastwards towards Cadouin, Montferrand, and Monpazier. Highly recommended place! We are very glad that we chose to stay here in the village of La Force, which had a low key, residential and relaxed vibe.
