With Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable in 9 km, Sakka Sanso features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are cute, clean, and surprisingly spacious for Japan. They have two steaming hot onsens that can be booked for private bathing times. Everyone who works here is so sweet and kind. The food is delicious, we ate in the restaurant for breakfast every morning (alternating Japanese and western style meals) and most dinners too! Delicious katsu, teriyaki chicken, beef rice bowls, and veggie tempura! We tried a few other restaurants around Hakuba but we kept coming back to Sakka Sanso! They also picked us up and dropped us off at Hakuba Station, helped us arrange taxi rides, tours and gear rentals, and they got us lift tickets at a discount. Add in the awesome location right next to the 3 Sakka lifts and we can't wait to return to Sakka Sanso!

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site. Pension's owner was very nice which gave us a happy and precious memory while stayed in Hakuba.

A 5-minute drive from Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort, Pension Belnia offers cosy accommodations and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Taka is an amazing host. He goes above and beyond to make your holiday the best it can be. The breakfast is always a treat. Looking forward to our return next time!

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Wow wow WOW. We didn't want to leave. This place was amazing. The two onsens are super plush. The owners are amazing people and we would highly recommend eating breakfast and/or dinner with them.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. Super comfortable stay with everything we needed to cook after a day on the slopes. The bedding was excellent, showers and toilets worked well. Our host Toshi really made the stay exceptional, he helped us wherever he could, dropped us at the lifts each day and made it really special. Location was excellent, with a shuttle stop for the other mountains 2 minutes walk away. The on-site Onsen was also great and worth booking after a long day. Can’t recommend this stay highly enough, truly 10/10!

Situated a 2-minute walk from the Happo Bus Terminal, the completely non-smoking Ski-Kan features a hot-spring bath and hotel-wide free WiFi. The staff is very helpful, informative and warm! Definitely one of the highlights of the stay in Hakuba.

Located in Hakuba in the Nagano region, snowhere ski lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. I like everything about the lodge. The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

ペンションヴォルケ is located in Shinano, 32 km from Suzaka City Zoo, 34 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, and 40 km from Ryuoo Ski Park. The host was a grandma and a grandpa, they were super nice and caring. It made us feel like home, and they made us traditional Japanese breakfast which was very delicious. We will definitely come back next time!

With mountain views, Japan Snowsports is set in Iiyama and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, sun terrace and barbecue. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The owners and staff were all super friendly. Breakfast was amazing!
