We absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms are cute, clean, and surprisingly spacious for Japan. They have two steaming hot onsens that can be booked for private bathing times. Everyone who works here is so sweet and kind. The food is delicious, we ate in the restaurant for breakfast every morning (alternating Japanese and western style meals) and most dinners too! Delicious katsu, teriyaki chicken, beef rice bowls, and veggie tempura! We tried a few other restaurants around Hakuba but we kept coming back to Sakka Sanso! They also picked us up and dropped us off at Hakuba Station, helped us arrange taxi rides, tours and gear rentals, and they got us lift tickets at a discount. Add in the awesome location right next to the 3 Sakka lifts and we can't wait to return to Sakka Sanso!

Ringo-Noki is the most beautiful little Lodge, with only around 6 rooms, in Hakuba run by the very lovely couple of Yoshi-San and his wife Kayo. Everything was perfect about this place, the decoration, the service provided by Yoshi and Kayo, the delicious breakfast, the cleaness, the beautiful onsen to use everyday after a full day of activities. When arriving you were directly greeted with tea and the stunning common area. All rooms also have coffee and tea for you to make and use at your convenience. Right next to the lodge is the bus stop for the free shuttle and within walking distance you have several nice and delicious restaurants, cafés and bakery and other shops. Can highly recommend this location.

Pension Belnia berjarak 5 menit berkendara dari Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort, dan menawarkan akomodasi yang nyaman serta Wi-Fi gratis di seluruh areanya. Taka the host of Belnina is the star of the operation, so warm friendly and down to earth makes you feel like you are a friend staying at his home. Location is convenient to restaurants, bars and snow shuttle. I will be back.

Nomanomori yang bergaya chalet ini menawarkan kamar-kamar bergaya Barat yang unik, 15 menit berkendara dari Pilatus Ski Resort. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Pension Tomato berjarak 10 menit berkendara dari Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, dan menawarkan kamar-kamar bergaya Barat yang luas dengan area loteng. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.

Log Cottage Epoch berjarak 10 menit jalan kaki dari Happo One Ski Resort, dan Anda dapat menyewa seluruh pondok. The best park about this log cottage was the location. It was located in a quiet part of Nagano Olympic village next to the forest. It also had play equipment for the kids which they loved. The cottage was large enough for a family and also provided ample privacy.

The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

Very similar to a European chalet holiday with a Japanese feel. Owners and staff were very friendly and attentive and organised everything from transport to lift passes, dinner bookings to serving a delicious breakfast.
