The staff/all the people working there are extremely friendly and very helpful! To an extent that really is exceptional. They took very good care of me and made sure I am fine. Very attentive. They assisted me with a lot of things (finding shops, buying train tickets, suggesting me other properties for the places I was going to visit...) The property is located in a very quiet part of Varanasi which can be good if you want to avoid the crazy hustle. You do need to take some form of transportation to go to the ghats or the inner city though as it's quite far for walking. But if you value great service and kind people, this is the place for you.

Boasting a restaurant, Gully Ghar is situated in Varanasi in the Uttar Pradesh region, 300 metres from Assi Ghat and 1.3 km from Harishchandra Ghat. We had an awesome time at Gully Ghar. It is located close to the river where the ceremonies happen and every important sight can be explored from the doorstep. Breakfast is always homemade, delicious and eaten with all staff and guests on the roof terrace. Saurabh is an awesome host who helped us with everything and teached us so much about Varanasi (it actually has 4 names ;-))
