The luxurious Wine House Hotel in Lamego, in the heart of the Douro region, is surrounded by extensive private grounds with vineyards. The location was perfect and the property was gorgeous. I loved the variety at the buffet breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the water circuit as well as the massage. The food was amazing.

In the Serra da Estrela Mountains, this Manteigas hotel offers guest rooms with balconies overlooking forest landscapes of Serra da Estrela . We were made to feel very welcome. Everyone was friendly. The place is warm and cosy. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. We specifically asked for a room with a balcony and that is what we got.

The bed is super comfortable. The shower was excellent, lovely hot water. The room we stayed in had two large windows with a beautiful view. The location for us was perfect for our sightseeing trips and it was always a pleasure to come back to a comfortable, spacious, clean room.
