La struttura si trova in mezzo al villaggio nubiano, la casa è accogliente e pulita, ha un giardino molto carino e un cane 🐕, i gestori sono gentili e disponibili. Purtroppo avendo molte escursioni da fare non ci siamo goduti molto il posto ma lo consiglierei a tutti! Credo sia l'unica guest house così bella nel villaggio. Abbiamo anche fatto l'escursione con loro ad Abu Simbel, non prenotate online, le loro escursioni sono più economiche e ben organizzate.

We stayed in the Kolod room at Kato Waidi and it was beautiful! The room, the property and the entire Nubian village is colourfully decorated. The room was a decent size, fabulously decorated and its domed roof made for the strangest acoustics (worth having a play with if you're staying with someone else!). The bathroom was small and the shower was almost directly over the toilet but this oddly was not an issue as it was not cramped at all and the water on the floor drains and dries up very quickly. Everything was very clean. We loved having meals in the outdoor dining area. The dogs and cats on the property were very entertaining and a highlight of the stay. The Egyptian food was nice too. The Nubian market is directly outside the entrance of the property and is a great way to spend a bit of time. There was also an ATM right outside the hotel entrance which was handy. The manager is so easy going and attentive. He ensured our room was available even though we arrived very early and even had breakfast made for us even though it was well past breakfast time! And also very kindly organised a private sunset boat ride from the property which was great. He also took care of the airport transfers. We paid for everything at the end of our stay which made things so much easier as we just added things onto our tab as we went along. The value for money here was fantastic. If we had more time we would have also taken a felucca boat ride with picnic.

The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

Great spot on the Nile, 10 min walk from the Nubian Village. The people around here are really friendly. Great if you're looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the major cities. Food at the restaurant was authentic and delicious. They sell beer as well.

Posizione eccellente sull’isola elefantina e servita molto bene dai battelli che collegano le sponde. Camera e bagno ampi (era un upgrade) con balconcino. Colazione MOLTO varia e ricca di salato e dolce, frutta di vario genere, succhi freschi. Nei ristoranti la scelta a là carte è buona. Wi-fi eccellente. Personale davvero molto gentile.
