Location was excellent right on the beachfront and only a short cab or boat ride to the main town. There were two gorgeous pool areas that were serviced by a bar and cafe. The buffet breakfast was amazing - they didn't forget anything. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Only accessed by lockable gates making it very private. The owners were amazing meeting and greeting and also there on departure and arranged transfers for us. Amazing villa we hope to return to.

The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. Also very well equipped (pool, restaurant). It is located in a quiet environment despite its (convenient) proximity to the airport. In particular, we would like to highlight the efficiency and kindness of the lady managing the hotel. We also noted a smiling staff, clearly happy to work there. The city centre and the port are only a few minutes away thanks to the hotel shuttle.

The sun loungers are sooooo comfy and the cafe bar was very good and was very reasonably priced . The Althaea is a small family run business and they are the most attentive hosts you could ask for . Location was perfect just a 5 minute stroll to the top of main resort . Very quiet relaxed vibe but central to town …… perfect 👌

We were caught unfortunately in storm Daniel during our stay, but the hosts were there at all times making sure all the guests were ok, we were able to keep our room for as long as needed which was a massive help.I would highly recommend Althaea luxury rooms and can’t wait to return.

The garden was nicely located along a hot bakery in other words fresh Greek pastries at breakfast every morning.Given the bad weather on 05/09, we were allowed to check out very late until our boat arrived around 2pm instead of 11am. Flat was also very close to the centre ideal for visiting centre and other beach resorts.
