Moreover, the owner is super nice and hospitable although he’s not at the property, helping us a lot via WeChat just as nearby restaurant reservations and bus reservations. Love the trip.

I went when it was quiet in the town so I had a whole room to myself. There’s also a restaurant on the bottom floor which is open until late and the staff are very friendly had a nice long conversation with them and felt very welcomed! Good facilities too: shower, bath, fridge and sauna!

Spacious room, friendly welcoming staff. Met a couple of staff from Myanmar who speak good English. A new hotel, opened just about 6 months ago. The inroom onsen was great. Convenient location to Lake Toya sights. The whole hotel is an art gallery. Very tastefully decorated. The Tannoy speakers in the lounge are something to listen to. The live harpist performance was very good.
