Helena our host was just gorgeous, a little help from Google Translate and we were away 😊 The house is immaculate, well cared for and with good internet. There is an orchard near the pool with fruit / veg and a Pingo Supermarket a short drive away for everything you need. If you need a relaxing calm place with stunning scenery, this is it.

Cosimiro’s place is an absolutely fantastic place with the most incredible views of the Duoro Valley. He and his wife were incredibly kind and helpful, and even prepared a super sweet welcome lunch for us, Port, wine and all! The apartment is massive and had everything we needed for a short stay in The Valley. Would return every time!

We loved the tranquility of the beautiful vineyard and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and very spacious and there were lots of great spots to sit outside and take in the views. The pool is fantastic and we were able to swim with beautiful sunny weather. I would advise anyone planning a stay to make sure you buy some groceries before you arrive as it is a bit of a windy drive to find local restaurants and grocery shops. We did find some great local places to eat out at and there are many beautiful vineyards and walks nearby. You definitely need a car.
