Located in Thekkady, Spice Villa Thekkady features a garden and terrace. The way the hosts called us before we reached and talked with our driver so that we don't face any language barrier. On reaching, we found out we had booked the wrong kind of room. But the owners happily offered us another room for no extra charges. The complimentary breakfast was a super treat. Such a beautiful, healthy and delicious combination of traditional and english breakfast, I along with my friends are totally awed at the experience.

Kalidasa Tree House and Villa, Wayanad features lake views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Chekadi, a few steps from Kuruvadweep. We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

From arranging our accommodation to providing helpful local insights, Aneesh's dedication to his guests was evident throughout our visit. 'The Paradise' is an ideal choice for family stays and small group gatherings. PEARL HUT home stay vythiri Wayanad is set in Vythiri, 10 km from Lakkidi Viewpoint, 19 km from Karlad Lake, as well as 21 km from Kanthanpara Waterfalls. We loved the property and easily accessible to the primary spots. Neat and clean property with enough facilities for cooking and with a big parking. It was Calm and peaceful with no disturbance from surrounding and a very supportive owner and care taker. We were 5 Friends and the rooms were very accomodative.

What sets this place apart is its location slightly off the beaten path from popular spots like Fort Kochi or Chenai Beach, offering a respite from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. A leisurely Uber ride of about an hour takes you to Fort Kochi, allowing you to soak in the city's lush green scenery. And returning to our cozy yellow postbox, was always a comforting thought in the evenings. Chennai beach is a mere 20-minute Uber trip away, and we can't recommend a visit highly enough! We went to chill out café and also recommend checking out that place as well. Overall, it's an excellent location. The locals are friendly, and the hosts are exceptional—they're a warm, helpful family who truly make you feel right at home! Best wishes from Germany
