Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Everything: the place is lovely, there are opportunities to walk around and observe the old mining ventilation shaft, the breakfast is outstanding.(homemade meat, cheese and other supplements). Beautiful accomodation, amazing garden, very quiet and safe. We really enjoyed company of our hosts who shared with us many interesting things about life in South Africa. They also helped us with everything. We could even get litchi from their lichi tree :) We felt very welcomed and had a good time.
